Telehealth

Telehealth can be an effective and evidence-supported way to access counselling, particularly for women balancing work, family, health, or recovery.

  • Reduced barriers: no travel time, parking, or waiting rooms
  • Greater flexibility: easier to attend sessions consistently
  • Comfort: engage in counselling from a familiar, chosen environment
  • Continuity of care: fewer disruptions due to illness, weather, or logistics
  • Research supported: telehealth counselling outcomes are comparable to in-person care for many concerns

Confidential and secure

All sessions are conducted via Zoom, a secure telehealth platform, and in a professional setting where privacy is protected and conversations cannot be overheard.

Telehealth may not suit everyone. This is acknowledged, and if telehealth is not the right fit for you, support can be provided to explore alternative counselling options that may feel more appropriate for your needs.

About Sarah

Life’s fast pace and unexpected demands can bring ongoing pressure, stress, and responsibility. Over time, this can quietly wear away a woman’s sense of confidence and clarity, leaving her feeling exhausted, disconnected, or unsure how she lost her sense of self.

I am a registered counsellor and accredited exercise professional, supporting women experiencing ongoing stress, anxiety, depression, and the effects of trauma to regain clarity, balance, and a stronger sense of self. My work brings together counselling and long-term exercise professional practice, informed by research and lived experience.

There was a time in my own life when I was functioning but overwhelmed. Living with anxiety, depression, and trauma brought me to a point where something needed to change — not because I was broken, but because I needed support. That experience is part of why I offer this work today.

I sought support because beneath the fear and exhaustion there was still a part of me that was hopeful and brave. Taking that step changed my life in ways I could not have imagined and shaped why I created this practice.

My work meets women where they are, recognising each woman as the expert in her own life. Sessions are structured and paced to suit individual needs, honouring each woman’s experience with care, compassion, and respect, and supporting women to reconnect with hope in a way that feels realistic and grounded.
